How to Change Apple ID Password on iPhone
If you are going to change it, First, open the Settings app. Scroll down and select the Touch ID & Passcode option. Then enter the password that you are currently using.
Second, Next, scroll down again look for the Change Passcode option. Here you will be asked for your old password again. After entering it correctly, you will be asked to enter your new password. Note that there is an additional advanced option that allows you to set an alphanumeric password or a four-digit password if you press Password Options.

How to Reset Your iPhone Passcode
This is one of the most complicated ways if you are about to reset your password. To reset (reset), you need a computer that has iTunes installed. Otherwise, you will need to take your iPhone to an Apple Store or an authorized partner, who can reset your Apple device.
The steps for resetting the password are according to the type of iPhone you are using. (this method is only if your computer has the iTunes application installed).
- For iPhone 6s and below, and iPhone SE first generation: Hold down the Top or Side button until a slider appears on the screen to turn off your device. - For iPhone 7: Hold down the Side button until a slider appears on the screen to turn off your device. Drag the slider to turn off your iPhone. While holding the Volume down button, connect your iPhone 7 to the computer. Follow the instructions on the recovery screen to erase all iPhone data.

- For newer iPhones (iPhone X or later, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and second-generation iPhone SE): Hold down one of the volume buttons and the Side button at the same time until a slider appears on the screen. Drag the slider to turn off your iPhone. Now, while holding the Side button, connect your phone to your computer. After a while, a recovery screen will appear on your iPhone and you will be able to erase all the data.
